Sailing

sailing in Wu Kai Sha, Hong Kongbradford lee, brad lee, lee ka pong, lee ka pong bradford, hong kong, cast away, sailing in Ma On ShanWent sailing with my bro Anthony and a TDC colleague Wing today (I mean Sat). Originally we had 4 people going together but a gal "aeroplaned" suddenly ... so 3 of us went sailing together ... it turned out to be a relaxing journey ... pretty good!

We spent about an hour after arriving the Outward Bound Alumni Club, located next to Wu Kai Sha Youth Village (烏溪沙青年新村), for preparation ... began the journey at around 11am ... sailed to Ting Kok (汀角) ... then had some noodles in a store in the Wu Kai Sha beach (烏溪沙) ... everything went very well 'cos it was quite windy from morning onwards until 2:30pm when we were departing from the beach heading to the Outward Bound club house ... suddenly my mind was full of "gone with the wind" ... all wind was gone and we were kind of stuck in the middle of the sea.

Sailing in Wu Kai Sha, Hong KongIt took me quite some efforts to sail back though the distance is actually not very long from the Wu Kai Sha beach to the club house. Finally we arrive safely but for the 2nd time we were "saved" by a speedboat rather than sailing back to the base on our own ... really I need more practice, particularly to cope with the no-wind situation!
