Personalized Vehicle Registration Mark (自訂車牌)

You may have heard a lot about the personalized vehicle registration mark (自訂車牌) thing and the auction in mid September. You may have heard about the "1 L0ve Y0u" one too ... but have you actually seen them in the street? I saw one tonight when I was having dinner with my friend Kenneth in Shatin ... we were sitting outside a restaurant for dinner and this car (see the photo) came ... "HKU 3" ... nothing special though. I wouldn't bother paying HK$5000 for this one.
