Jacky Cheung Concert

Some of you may know that I was one of the "victims" in last Sunday's Jacky Cheung concert ...when I arrived in the Hong Kong Coliseum at around 8:15pm, I found it really weird 'cos nobody was around in the staircases (normally you will see crowds rushing in) ... I thought "am I really late this time?" ... but then after I parked my car and walked to the staircase, I knew what happened ...

Just downloaded a form from the concert website to exchange for Jan 08 tickets ... have never tried the Western Kowloon concert area before (by the way, I'm not aware that there is such a place for concert in that area except the open-air cinema) .. hope it will be as great for concerts ...

Andy Hui's Concert

Some of you may know that I like Andy Hui's songs. It was my first time to watch Andy's live show - coincidentally in his 40-year-old birthday.

It won't take long before I turn to 40-year-old. By then, what and where I would be?

903 Concert

Haven't attended concerts for quite some time. Last night, I went to HKCEC for the 903 concert featuring Eric Kwok, Eason Chan and Edison Chen.

An as in the past, I forgot to bring my camera (you know I've a good one that I can make an optical zoom for 12x, should be able to take close-up!). My seat was pretty far away from the stage (as you can see from the picture) but the good thing is that the atmosphere was pretty good last night. Contrary to my thought, Eason didn't conquered the stage. Eric Kwok did. Gerald - Eric Kwok's partner in Swing - was another surprise ... another big surprise was Kenny Bee who suddenly joined the group to sing one of his top hit song 癡心的一句.

Khalil Fong in Concert

brad's cyberspace, bradford lee, brad lee, lee ka pong, lee ka pong bradford, hong kongWatched Khalil Fong's live performance twice this week. One during the Sina Music Award on Monday and tonight as well. He had his first concert in Hong Kong tonight in the Arts Centre. It was full house (though the Arts Centre's hall is pretty small actually) ... from what I observed, the audience really liked Khalil - the way he sang, performed and interacted with the audience.

Among the guests who went on stage (e.g. Fiona 薛凱琪, 農夫 and Andy Hui), I particularly liked Andy Hui who sang 大愛 with Khalil. 林夕 specially wrote some Putonghua lyrics of 大愛 for this concert so that Khalil was able to sing together with Andy Hui for the song. But this was the thing that I didn't understand ... he said he has a rule that he won't sing Cantonese songs ... I really don't understand ... though among the Chinese community, the Putonghua-speaking crowd is larger, it wouldn't be wise to forget about the majority of Hong Kong people who are able to help him establish a strong foothold in the Asian market ... so, I'm still wondering even now, anyway, I enjoyed the show very much ... probably the best show I've watched in these few years.
